Handling devices, feeding facilities, piston pump drives, printing machines etc. are further fields of application for these special gears.
The standard circumferential backlash on the drive shaft of theses gears - depending on size and transmission - ranges between 0.5° and 0.2°. Depending on the requirements, the gears can also be delivered with almost no clearance. Low clearance can be maintained over a long lifetime if the device is accurately dimensioned.
