Operating principle
After the attachment of the indicator to the quill shaft, the measured value is - by turning the adjusting spindles - adjusted to the required spindle pitch with the help of a mechanic-digital counter / an electronic scanning principle with precise intermediate gear.
A support which is fixed to the backside of the device is inserted into a bore which is intended for this purpose and which movements of the measuring device while the shaft is turning
