The measuring system (battery operated) is based on an incremental magnetic scale and can permanently detect the current position due to the battery technology. The quasi-absolute displacement measuring systems from Willtec always consist of magnetic sensors in combination with battery-operated electronic digital displays for data retention. Power is supplied by battery or bus system 10-30 VDC, max. 100 mA. The systems have a lifetime of up to four years.
